Allow Me To Introduce Myself

Hello! My name is Crystal Wheeler.  I am a Christ follower, wife of 23 years, mom of 5 amazing children, and a Professional Organizer. I approach organizing like I do most things and that's from a Christian perspective. I named my Business "Well Done Organizing" based on the Scripture, Matthew 25:23 "Well done good and faithful servant."

As Christians we desire to do well with everything we own and do well with everything put in our care...our marriage, our children, our time, our finances, our material possessions, etc. We purpose to be good stewards and live our lives in such a way that when we meet the Father, we hear the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant."  With all that in mind, I'd like to share a 2 step process I've developed that makes organizing and all the decisions that come with it, easy to do and easy to maintain. I call it "Practical/ Perspective".

PRACTICAL: "What to do with what we own."

I have simple list of guidelines when considering every item in your home:

Every-THING fits into a category: 

•Decoration (stays out) 

•Use frequently (stays out) 

•Use intermittently (put away but easily accessible... closet, cabinet, dresser, etc) 

•Rarely use (storage, basement, garage) 

•Memorabilia (storage, basement, garage) 

(Everything in storage should be organized and condensed.)

PERSPECTIVE: "Why we own what we own."

When we look at our material possessions from a Biblical perspective we see that we are not meant to accumulate things but to be good stewards of things.  We store up our treasure in Heaven so we should not cling to things but Cling to Him!  When we have this perspective it makes the decisions easier and our burden lighter.  Let's live light because of the Light that lives in us!
